Kerem Kızıltunc joined the Turkish Airlines in 2009 and has been the Head of Corporate Development and Informatıon Technology and the CIO since February, 2014. He is the main responsible for the sustainability of Turkish Airlines’ information systems, support of the business functions and the management of technology centric transformation programs.

Kerem Kızıltunc began his career as a software engineer in 1995. Until 1999, he developed variety of applications in the areas of state, finance, media and control-automation.

From 1999 to 2003, he has worked in NCR-Teradata Systems’ R&D office at Copenhagen on several projects in various roles.

In 2003, he joined the Microsoft Development Center in Copenhagen as a software development engineer and started to work on Microsoft’s Dynamics ERP products. In 2006, he became the Senior Development Leader.

In 2009, he began his duty at Turkish Airlines as the Vice President of Commercial Solutions. He was responsible for many areas including reservations, ticketing, loyalty & customer relationship management, sales & distribution, revenue management, e-commerce, mobile payments, fraud prevention and revenue accounting solutions. In 2014, he became the CIO.

Kerem Kızıltunc, who is a TED Kayseri College graduate, holds a bachelor’s (1996) and an Msc degree in Software Engineering from Bosphorus University. He is married and the father of 2 children and co-inventor of 7 US patents.
