Inspired by one of his undergraduate courses, entrepreneurship, Mert Karslıoğlu founded ecording. He studied Computer Engineering at Bahçeşehir University. He brought together the interest of the ecording team in unmanned aerial vehicles and the search for solutions to environmental problems and aimed to make afforestation fast and autonomous with unmanned aerial vehicles called ecoDrone. He is also on the Fortune 40 under 40 list.
