With 26+ years experience, Chris is a passionate global business marketer turned marketing advisor, investor, board member, and academic. He deeply believes in the power of connecting Marketing with Finance to drive topline growth. He learned the Marketing and Branding “metier”​ at Global FMCG blue chips like P&G, The Coca-Cola Company, and Anheuser-Busch InBev (CMO 2007-2012). In 2012 he founded his own NYC based marketing capability and strategy consultancy Vicomte LLC (www.vicomte.com)

1) angel invested since 2003 in a globally diversified portfolio of potential category disruptors,
2) joined the Board of select startups and scale-ups (US, Turkey):
3) joined NYU Stern Business School mid 2012 as Capstone Director for the Trium Global MBA and MS in Business Analytics
4) invented “Alpha(M)”, a concept that may lead to the world’s first Marketing Rating Model (being explored and refined with McKinsey).

In terms of not-for-profit, he served on the boards of 2 marketing industry associations (AIM – Europe, WFA – global). His non profit mission focus is now all about helping Belgian talent unleash their potential in the USA/world (Belgian American Chamber of Commerce; the King Baudouin Foundation’s Prince Albert Fund)

Chris is Belgian, holds a TRIUM Global EMBA from NYU/LSE/HEC, an MA in European Economics from the Centre Européen Universitaire de Nancy (France), and an MA in International Business and Economics from the University of Leuven (KUL – Belgium). He is fluent or conversant in 5 languages, and always searching for that challenging balance between gastronomy, and distance running and cycling.
