Özgür, born in 1979, studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering at M.E.T.U. He finished his Ph.D. in 2012. His areas of research include video streaming, video adaptation for network and device characteristics, and video adaptation through subjective modelling.
Özgür worked at TÜBİTAK Uzay Teknolojileri Araştırma Enstitüsü (UZAY) between 2002 and 2006 before founding Mobilus Ltd. together with Yağız.
Özgür manages the sales and marketing efforts of Mobilus. Özgür’s skillset includes:
▪Experience in project management and team organization
▪Strong academic and practical background on image and video processing acquired during R&D projects in Mobilus and PhD studies.
▪Experience in deploying and managing server applications for Enterprise level applications.
