Didem Altop is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Endeavor Turkey, part of a global non-profit organization supporting high-impact entrepreneurship in emerging markets as a catalyst for economic development. She is also currently serves as co-founder and Board Member at two social entrepreneurship supporting non-profit organizations Ashoka and YenidenBiz.

Prior to joining Endeavor, Didem served as the Co-Founder & Managing Partner of ECOM Consulting & Project Finance, a boutique consulting company involved in non-profit capacity building, business and social entrepreneurship. She has worked with Turkey’s leading holding companies to promote and design Corporate Social Responsibility strategies and has also worked with Turkey’s leading non-profit organizations on various capacity-building campaigns. Didem currently serves as a founding board member of ASHOKA Turkey. Her former board roles include: The Third Sector Foundation of Turkey (TUSEV), the Corporate Volunteer Council of Turkey (OSGD) and Junior Achievement Education Foundation in Turkey (GBEV).

Prior to shifting her career focus to CSR and the non-profit sector, Didem worked in management consulting and emerging market business development for Lockheed Martin Mission Systems, Shared Medical Services (SMS), MCI Communications and Electronic Data Systems (EDS). Didem has also worked for The World Bank on trade reform and privatization policy for Algeria, Morocco and Turkey. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Development Economics from The Johns Hopkins University and a Master of Science in Industrial Administration from Carnegie Mellon University with a concentration in strategic planning and entrepreneurship.
