Dilek Bil completed her high school education in Northport High School in New York and her higher education in international finance and international marketing at the University of North Texas. During her banking career in credit and marketing at American Express Bank, Koç – American Bank, BNP – AK-Dresdner and Societe Generale between 1985 and 1994, she attended various international banking trainings, seminars and conferences.

Dilek’s entrepreneurial years started by establishing Kangaroo Communication and Consultancy. Between 1994 and 2013, she directed Kangaroo, providing services to many national and international brands in strategic brand communication and creative advertising solutions.

She is the founder of the “Purpose-Sustainable Ideas” Platform where she provides consultancy to private sector organizations,  in the perspective of sustainable development. In 2017, she received the “Women of the Decade in Media and Social Change” award by the Women Economic Forum. She is an inspirational leader in women empowerment and sustainable development, works closely with many international organizations; UNSDSN, German Bioeconomy Council, ALL Ladies League.
