Dilek DAYINLARLI is the founder of ScaleX Ventures, an early-stage Venture Capital firm with a strong emphasis on operational support to its portfolio companies at global level. She serves at the boards and invests in cybersecurity, bioinformatics, B2B software, and AI and also leads them to global scaling.
Most recently, she spent four years as a venture capitalist firm 212, making investments in a broad spectrum of technology startups. She has been an investor in 10+ companies including Picus Security (a pioneer in Breach and Attack Simulations), Genomize, Cybeats, TeamSQL, Genialis and Insider (the world’s first integrated Growth Management Platform, funded by Sequoia Capital) and IyziCo.
Prior to her investing career, Dilek was an operator and management consultant, Groupon – executed deploying management systems and enabling scaling, and Accenture – worked on tech and telco company strategy projects. She started her career by founding her own company.
Dilek received a BA honors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Yildiz Technical University and MBA from Johnson & Wales University, both with honor degrees. Dilek is also one of the distinguished Kauffman Fellows, by scholarship. She is also a founding member and leader of Arya Women Investment Platform. She is a guest lecturer at Stanford University and judges at European Commission Horizon2020.
