Dr. Frank Säuberlich is Director Advanced Analytics as part of the Teradata International Data Science team. His focus is on demand creation across the EMEA and APJ regions.

Frank previously worked at Urban Science International where he was Regional Manager responsible for Customer Analytics. In this role he has worked with client teams around the globe to implement analytical solutions and he pioneered new types of analysis to improve the efficiency of automotive clients´ marketing efforts. Prior to that as European Customer Solutions Practice Manager he was responsible for the Urban Science Customer Solutions practice in Europe.

Before joining Urban Science he was a Senior Technical Consultant, data mining, at SAS, Heidelberg, Germany. In that position, he focused on e-intelligence and CRM, in addition to data mining topics.

While working on his doctoral thesis, he was a scientific assistant at the Institute of Decision Theory and Management Science, Department of Economics and Business Engineering, University of Karlsruhe, Germany. During this time, he developed a course in web mining and supervised several research papers.

Dr. Säuberlich has written numerous articles which have been published in journals, refereed proceedings and books. He also has been a frequent speaker at scientific conferences. He is a member of the German Classification Society.

He holds a Doctors degree in economics and a Masters degree in economic mathematics from the University of Karlsruhe.
