Born in Germany and residing in Istanbul, Elif is an internet professional with 20 years of experience in e-commerce and marketing, focusing mainly on Omnichannel Retail, e-Commerce, Business Strategy Development, Product Development and Marketing for online businesses. She is an expert on Turkish e-Commerce and online business market.
She started her career as a Management Trainee at Koç Holding. During her career she was engaged in all areas of the digital arena (agency, advertiser, media and e-commerce). Some of the companies she worked for are; Arcelik, Bates Turkey, IXIR, Peppers & Rogers Turkey, BBDO Group, Hürriyet Internet Group, Otto Group Turkey and Mavi Jeans.
She had always been working in corporate life with an entrepreneurial spirit and was therefore lucky to be involved in many “first in Turkey projects”. She is constantly coaching startups to accelerate their online businesses in Turkey. She is also a part-time professor at Bahcesehir University.
Now, she works as a consultant with multiple companies to create foundation, refine and drive scalable growth on digital and e-commerce projects and teaching e-Commerce at Bahcesehir University. She is also a a contractor Parter to SAP hybris e-Commerce solution.
Elif holds a degree in Management from Bilkent University, completed the Design Culture & Management Program at Bilgi University and graduated from Master Studies on New Media at Kadir Has University.
She has always been very active in professional associations. She was one of the founders of IAB Turkey and IAA Young Chapter-Turkey.
She speaks Turkish English, German fluently and a little Spanish. She likes very much singing, scuba diving and snowboarding.
