İsmail Cem Atalay has 18 years of both academic and professional ICT experience and over 12 years of hands-on experience on embedded systems. He has born in 1974, graduated from Boğaziçi University in 1996 with a BSc degree on Electronics Engineering, and got his MBA degree from the same university in 1998. He has studied as research student in Imperial College London on Wireless Sensor Networks between 2003 and 2005. He had his 2nd Master’s degree from Sabancı University in the field of Electronics Engineering in 2012. His professional career started in 1998 and so far he has worked for Turkcell, Nortel Networks TR, Ericsson UK, Agilent UK, Sabanci University and Turk Telekom R&D in various technology/project management positions. Since 2013, he works as co-founder and manager on Progin Technologies concentrating on joint development of telematics, autonomous mobility and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). During his career, İsmail Cem Atalay worked mainly on algorithm design, signal processing, RF, network protocols and embedded SW programming that has formed the baseline of Progin’s proprietary solutions. İsmail Cem Atalay is also the author of 3 academic publications and owner of 2 patents in telecom/embedded system design area.
