Disruptive Business Models in the Big Data WorldMy passion lies in applying machine learning to non-traditional fields where it has been largely undiscovered or inaccessible at large. The most fascinating part I enjoy solving is to formulate a difficult problem in mathematical objectives and optimize that objective with the appropriate statistical learning techniques. The role of data in this ambitious path is now bigger than ever and I feel lucky to live in this abundance.

Recently, I’ve been invited to give talks at various prestigious industrial big data conferences including Big Data Innovation and Predictive Analytics World in Boston, Informs in San Francisco, Big Data Week in Atlanta, and Social Data Innovation in Miami. I have also attended panels in SF and ATL discussing the role of women in data science and the future directions of the field. I had very interesting conversations and came across a number of innovative ideas across the board. I plan to be an active member of such gatherings as much as time permits.
