Sam Sinai, leads the machine learning team at Dyno Therapeutics, an AAV design company he co-founded. Sam was trained as a computational biologist with emphasis on evolution and machine learning. He received his PhD under George Church and Martin Nowak at Harvard University, where he used mathematics and machine learning to develop models of biological systems. In particular, he developed the underpinnings of Dyno’s machine learning strategy in collaboration with Eric Kelsic, and has co-authored multiple papers on the subject. He previously obtained his B.S. and M.Eng. in computer science at MIT with a focus on A.I.
